Fri at Beau Decor did an awesome job. She was very helpful. We approach her in about a month from our wedding day and she really worked with us. She helped us select the right pieces and materials for the hall, center pieces, head table, and cake stand. Honestly, this was a rushed wedding and she made out time for us to meet three times to go over designs, color, and style. Our color was blue and yellow, and we were not sure how it would turn out. But the decors turned out great. Oh, and the budget was really considerable. We had about 180 guests and Fri gave us a really really good price. Her pricing is really competitive in comparison to other decors. Now, her attitude and charisma is really awesome. Considering she did not know us, we were referrals, she treated us like we were priorirty. On the day of our wedding, she had the hall setup hours before we got there. I would highly recommend Fri. I have already recommended my friends too. As you can already tell, I am very pleased with her decor.

I contacted Fri less than 2 weeks before my trad wedding & her attitude was Amazing! She took her time to understand my #SimplyBeautiful concept & her Execution was Phenomonal! She not only decorated the area we agreed on but gave the entrance of my bro home( where trad wedding occurred) a trad welcome as well! Pricing does NOT break the bank!!. Fri immediately became my to-go too & referrals for fam & friends. She recently NAILED my Gender reveal Baby Shower(Gray & Yellow theme) & kept my #SimplyBeautiful concept. 6 Things to Consider Before Selecting a Wedding Venue


Once a couple get engaged, they get the unavoidable question: ” When and where is the wedding? This question is not that easy to answer. One of the crucial element of the wedding planning process is choosing the wedding venue. It is a big deal picking the perfect/ideal wedding venue. Most attribute the success of the wedding to the perfect choice/venue because it flatters your guests, gives the couple a sense of joy and happiness, and makes the wedding pictures outstanding.
Here are some few things to consider before choosing a wedding venue.

1-Size of The Wedding

What comes first? Picking the venue before having the guest list Or getting the guest count before picking the venue? I wish it was an easy task. I think it is necessary to have an idea of the size of the wedding you want ( guest list) because this will enable you to shop for a venue with confidence; therefore allowing you to eliminate some venues ( saving you time an money) from your list and narrowing the list down to your wedding size. They are numerous online venue database you can search from.

2- Budget

It is important to be realistic because venues are not generally cheap especially the ones that are beautiful. The couple should be involved ( together ) in making this decision.  The capacity, the location and other various amenities offered will definitely affect the cost. You also need to take into consideration some special accommodations if needed such as accommodating people with disabilities.

3- The Theme

What love story you and your spouse are trying to convey? Rustic, Beach, Vintage,Outdoor, Indoor, Nautical, Space…etc. You need to choose the right theme or mixed themes  that work for you and your spouse. Remember that the theme is more than choosing the color. 4- Religious  Ceremony Lockdown

If you plan to have  a church or any kind of religious ceremony, you have to reserve your house of worship first, because the ceremony time often dictates the startup time for the reception.


Once you know the size of the wedding, your budget, the theme and the time of the religious ceremony ( if applicable), you can start your investigation or site visits.

***Do not visit more than 3 wedding venues in a day–> This will enable you to avoid sensory overload.This also give you the opportunity to make concise comparison to suit your likes.

*** Consider a central location–> You do not want a venue that is 5 hours drive from the airport. Remote area can be a pain for your guests and make the wedding unenjoyable. Just think about it.

***All night long party?–> You may want to consider if the venue has a curfew time. You don’t want the fire marshall of the police to shut down your party when it is at his peak.

***Set up and break Down–> This is particularly important for your vendors especially for the wedding Decors/ Design. Most venues offer a sep up and break down time in the contract. Depending on your wedding decors/ design, that allocated time might be little. You may want to discuss that with your decors vendors/company because you do not want to go overtime ( it can be costly )

***Parking for your guest–>  Self parking? Valet parking? enough parking space? This can be a nightmare for your guests. Small detail , but very important. I do not have much to say about parking. It speaks for it self. So ! just consider it.

6- Book It NOW!!

Wedding venues are valuable commodities. They don’t sit around waiting for you. Once you find what you want based on the basic criteria listed above, quickly get the opinion of other valuable people in your life ( Only if needed, and do it QUICK), THEN BOOK IT! Most venues require you to put down a deposit, so don’t worry about paying the entire amount the same day.
